These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Medical Scholar website and platform (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Medical Scholar is a platform that assists medical writers and pharmaceutical teams in producing medical and marketing content, and in routing that content through review and approval. It is a drafting and workflow tool — it supports professional judgement and does not replace it.

Important — AI-generated drafts require professional review. Content produced by the Service is an unapproved draft. It may contain errors and must be reviewed, verified and approved by suitably qualified medical, legal and regulatory professionals before it is published, distributed or otherwise relied upon. Medical Scholar does not provide medical advice, and its output is not a substitute for professional judgement.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You must provide accurate information and be authorised to act for your organisation.

3. Acceptable use

Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with applicable pharmaceutical, advertising and data-protection regulations.
Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes the intellectual property or rights of others.
Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that final, approved content complies with all laws and codes that apply to your organisation.

4. Your content and intellectual property

Content your organisation creates or uploads remains owned by your organisation. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service. We respect third-party copyright: the Service is designed to produce original wording and to cite sources rather than reproduce them, but you remain responsible for reviewing final content before use.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features from time to time.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of output. You use the Service and its output at your own discretion and risk, subject to the professional review described above.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medical Scholar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on unapproved output, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Medical Scholar against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or from content you publish or distribute without appropriate review and approval.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement.
